Kumari was a practicing attorney when her father died suddenly from lung cancer in 1988. This led her on an intense quest to deepen her spiritual understanding of illness and death and to discover ways to ease suffering for all beings. For the past 19 years she studied and lived with internationally acclaimed Meditation Masters, Reiki Masters and with Penelope Smith, a renowned pioneer in interspecies telepathic communication.

Kumari's mission is to be a clear channel to inspire awareness and compassion on a global scale through exploring the human/animal spiritual connection, and to be a catalyst for global ascension through conscious vibrational healing.

Kumari’s first love was an ex-race horse named Happy. Her passion for unveiling the deeply spiritual connection between humans and animals evokes the mystical from the mundane. Her clients and students include doctors, veterinarians, trainers, holistic practitioners and other animal and medical professionals.

Kumari is a Reiki Master, Animal Communicator, intuitive healer and counselor.  Her special gifts benefit human and animal clients alike.  Scientific studies have found Reiki to be associated with  decreased levels of stress hormones, improved immune indicators, balanced blood pressure, subjective improvements in anxiety and pain, decreased heart rate, improved mood and functioning in depressed patients, and enhanced well-being and vitality. These effects have been shown whether Reiki is given in person or at a distance., whether human clients or animal.

Kumari is also an attorney and author.  She is the owner of Kumari Inc. and member of The Reiki Alliance. Her healing experience spans a wide variety of venues, including psychiatric practice, private practice, social services, youth and family agencies and an AIDS and cancer respite.
